DOE Office of Electricity Energy Storage Reliability Meeting

June 14-15, 2016
Three Rivers Convention Center
Kennewick, WA. USA

Introduction

On behalf of the Department of Energy’s (DOE) Office of Electricity Delivery and Energy Reliability (OE) Energy Storage Program you are cordially invited to participate in an upcoming workshop on the Reliability of Stationary Energy Storage Systems. The purpose of this workshop is to bring together stakeholders from industry, utilities, and government to craft a strategic roadmap of the critical issues facing the reliable operation of energy storage technologies. As a key stakeholder within the energy storage community, we are requesting your participation to help identify the challenges, roadblocks, opportunities and potential solutions for characterizing and improving the reliability of energy storage systems. Presentations from reliability experts, energy storage and power electronic providers, utilities, integrators, testing and certification labs, and academia will be given to help frame the discussion. Your participation would be a great help in developing the R&D roadmap for this activity
