Introduction

VOLTTRON 2017 is a two-day technical meeting in San Francisco. The first day of the meeting will be of general interest to the user community; the second day of the meeting will focus on the VOLTTRON developer community. A draft agenda will be available on this site soon.

What's VOLTTRON?

VOLTTRONTM is an open source control and coordination platform that DOE is developing as a common platform for distributed control. VOLTTRON enables developers to quickly build secure applications and agents that can unlock more value from building devices through the delivery of end-use services, grid services, and energy market services. More information is available on the VOLTTRON website.

The source code for VOLTTRON has been released to the public and is available at github.com, along with a quick start page, documentation, and the VOLTTRON user guide.
