More about the symposium

The Pacific Northwest Smart Grid Demonstration Project is nearing completion after five years. Through the efforts of Battelle, the Bonneville Power Administration, eleven utilities from the five-state region, six project-level technology providers, Washington State University and the University of Washington, the project has demonstrated and assessed the performance and benefits of advanced smart grid technology.

The project will hold a regional symposium to share high-level results with stakeholders, recognize accomplishments, and discuss the future of smart grid technology in the region. Regional stakeholders — including utilities, governors' offices, legislators, state regulators, the energy industry and other interested parties — are invited to attend.

Registration is $75 and includes symposium participation, materials, refreshments, lunch, and an evening reception and dinner. For those who plan to stay overnight, a block of rooms has been reserved at a special rate at the Davenport Hotel.  Rooms must be reserved by March 20 to receive the special rate.

Meals and refreshments during the event will be provided thanks to our sponsors.
