JGCRI 2016 Annual Integrated Assessment Workshop and GCAM Community Modeling Meeting

Welcome to the 2016 Annual Integrated Assessment Workshop and GCAM Community Modeling Meeting event page. The Integrated Assessment Workshop will take place on October 11-12, and the GCAM Community Modeling Meeting will take place on October 13-14 in College Park, MD. A list of presentations from previous meetings is available on our website.  We look forward to seeing you at this year's meeting.

***Location Change: October 13: GCAM also @ UMD Marriott and Conference Center***
Due to the high response and attendance, the GCAM Community Modeling Meeting activities on October 13th will now also take place at the College Park Marriott and Conference Center, in the same meeting space as the JGCRI Annual Integrated Assessment Workshop.  Activities on October 14th, the second day of the GCAM Community Modeling Meeting, will take place at JGCRI as planned.

The Annual JGCRI Integrated Assessment Workshop. The Annual Integrated Assessment Workshop will take place on October 11-12. The Workshop brings together JGCRI researchers, national and international collaborators, and stakeholders to discuss recent advances and future directions in integrated research. Topics will range from fundamental advances in integrated modeling and data to applications in energy, water, land, policy, and vulnerability analysis. An agenda will be forthcoming. Please note: The JGCRI Annual Meeting is listed as a DOE conference and is found in the online tool.

The GCAM Community Modeling Meeting. The GCAM Community Modeling Meeting will take place on October 13th to 14th. The meeting will offer an opportunity to catch up on research using GCAM, developments with the GCAM, and, for those new to GCAM, to learn about the model. The meeting will cover the current status of GCAM and future developments along with a half-day tutorial on GCAM. This will also include informal hands-on training and assistance.

The combined meetings will highlight research and analysis activities both by JGCRI researchers and by colleagues and collaborators. If you are interested in presenting your work, please submit your abstract when you register. We are particularly interested in work that highlights important developments and analysis that is relevant to integrated modeling and research activities at JGCRI. We plan to include both poster and oral sessions at the meeting this year.
